Raymond Mackenzie

Master Upholsterer

Raymond’s journey began in 1987, learning the intricate traditions of the upholstery trade from the ground up. In 1998, he established his own workshop in Lhanbryde, driven by a commitment to top-class workmanship. With nearly 40 years of experience and thousands of pieces of furniture having passed through his hands, Raymond ensures that every project, whether a simple repair or a full restoration, is executed with master-level precision.

Becca Morrison

​Apprentice Upholsterer

In June 2025, the workshop welcomed Becca to the trade. A graduate in Communication Design, Becca brings a unique perspective to the business, blending her keen eye for colour, pattern and composition with the physical art of upholstery. Under Raymond’s mentorship, she is mastering the heritage techniques of the craft while helping our clients navigate the design choices that make a piece of furniture truly stand out in a modern home.
